Monument in Recognition of the Residential School Tragedy

Last weekend there was a ceremony to unveil the monument, which sits on the site of the Residential School which was here on the Sunshine Coast on the lands of the Sechelt Indian Band.  The sculpture of a grandmother and a child represents the lost generations of family. It is a monument worth visiting and spending some time to reflect on this dark chapter of our history.

Spirit Week Activities

We have had a busy Spirit Week, which included Clubs Day, our annual Terry Fox Run and our Junior Dance. Thanks to our Maintenance Dept. we have had our picnic tables refurbished-- the students really appreciate this!

I will try to post pictures of CSS activities throughout the year.

All the best.
