We opened up our gym for the elementary schools to have a basketball play day yesterday. The young grade 4 & 5 students seemed to have a great day. Thanks to our PE staff for accommodating our guests and thanks to our student volunteers who assisted in running the event.
Speaking of events, we had a sprinkler go off in our Grade 11 hallway this morning. The disruption was significant as the stagnant water in the sprinkler system didn't smell very good and we also had some water damage. The local volunteer fire department did a great job assisting us, as did our maintenance and custodial staff. Thank you to everyone for your good work. The clean up work will continue this weekend.
